Cursor Cloud Agents can now start from scratch without a connected repo
Cursor changelog (Aug 27, 2026) adds Start from scratch, without a repo for Cloud Agents: no GitHub or third-party SCM provider required to begin. Prompt immediately and Cursor scaffolds an Origin repo in the background; promote it to a real private/internal repo with a custom name when ready. Also added a live browser preview of the cloud agent environment (port-forwarded) and Vercel publish for a live URL.
